Presque Isle State Park is a Pennsylvania state park on 3,200 acres (12.95 km�), a sandy peninsula in Lake Erie, near the city of Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania in the United States. The park hosts over 4 million visitors per year. Beachgoing, swimming, hiking, biking, in-line skating and bird watching are popular activities within the park. The park contains 13 miles (21 km) of roads and 21 miles (34 km) of recreational trails. A monument to Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, a naval squadron leader during the War of 1812, sits at the far end of the peninsula. Presque Isle State Park can be reached from Pennsylvania Route 832 or by boat.
